NCWildlife.org Launches New Mobile Website

Good news for those of us in NC who’ve ever wondered if a fish was big enough to keep, or were looking for game lands to hunt.

Today the NC Wildlife Resource Commission lunched a mobile website that will allow us on-the-go users to purchase licenses, report harvests, check regulations, find a nearby wildlife service agent and view interactive maps of boating access areas, shooting ranges and game lands.

So next time you reel in a speckled trout and wonder “do they have to be 12 inches, or 14 inches?” you can quickly find out with a couple of clicks on your smart phone. The mobile site currently only offers a quick link to size/creel limits for saltwater fish. Hopefully the freshwater limits will be added soon.

The mobile site also lists agency phone numbers and email addresses, a sunrise/sunset table and links to NCWRC’s twitter and Facebook if you’d like to share your harvest.
